Sow A Few Seeds has a wide variety of ministry opportunities throughout North America. We are currently working with both church plants and established churches that sometimes need a helping hand in accomplishing ministry projects.
Service opportunities include: construction, sports, hosting block parties, backyard Bible clubs and more. Trips within North America are great for those wanting to stay close to home, and teams which may include younger aged students.
Location opportunities include: Northwest Canada, Alaska, Arizona, Mississippi and throughout the Northwest. Current ministry relationships include: But God Ministries and various church plants and established churches. Trip costs depend on location and services provided. Length of trips can vary to accommodate team needs.
Central America is home to some of the world’s poorest populations. A trip to this region is just a short flight away from most major U.S. cities and offers a variety of service opportunities which include partnering with both native-operating ministries as well as full-time missionaries.
Service opportunities include: construction, evangelism (to kids and adults), pastoral training, feeding programs, working in schools and vo-tech centers, working with local police and military units, providing medical/dental services and more. Sow A Few Seeds has established long-lasting relationships in this Spanish speaking region and we are sure we can find just the right place for your group to serve.
Location opportunities include: Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Current ministry relationships include: Global Outreach, Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI), AMG, Forgotten Children, BE Ministries, Tactica, Rice and Beans Ministries as well as independent missionaries. Trip costs range from $1,500-$2,500 per person and trip length averages one week.
Mission trip opportunities throughout South America continue to grow in popularity and opportunities, which include: medical/dental services, evangelism, water well installation, construction and more. Trips to South America require longer travel time, resulting in a 10-day minimum trip.
Location opportunities include: Peru and Ecuador. Current ministry relationships include independent missionaries. Trip costs average $2,500 per person with the potential for additional in-country flight expenses.
Combine the island vibe with doing God’s work among the indigenous people of the Caribbean! Trips to the Caribbean offer a short flight, which may be ideal shorter trips. Service programs include medical/dental services, construction, evangelism and sports.
Location opportunities include: Haiti, Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Current ministry relationships include: But God Ministries and independent missionaries. Trip costs average $1,600 per person.
Mission work in Europe provides opportunities to work with all ages and types of people, including children, women and even pastoral training. Service opportunities include: construction, pastor training, ladies’ ministry (sewing or crafts), after-school clubs, Vacation Bible School outreach, sports camp, kids camp and more. The opportunities for teaching skills to adults are endless, as many adults are seeking to learn skills that will help provide for their families.
Location opportunities currently include Romania through Project Ruth. Trip length is typically 10 days with an average cost of $2,500 per person.
Africa has been a frontrunner for international mission opportunities for many years, as the Gospel is being preached consistently and many people are coming to know Christ as their Savior. A ‘dream place’ for many Western Christians, Africa offers a wide variety of service opportunities including: construction, children’s ministry, orphan care, medical/dental services and clean water projects.
Location opportunities include: Ghana, Kenya, Zambia and Uganda. Current ministry relationships include: Cyprus Global, Benjamin House, Global Outreach, Sonrise children’s home and independent missionaries. Trip length is 10-12 days and the cost averages $3,000 per person.
Serving the Lord throughout Asia offers unrivaled opportunity to impact the least-reached people in the world. Due to the long distance from the U.S., travel to Asian countries may often prove more difficult, however, the wide range of ministry opportunities offer appropriate trips for people of all ages and adventure levels! Service opportunities include construction, medical/dental services, kids outreach, sports camps, feeding the hungry and more. Evangelism is a heavy focus for all service opportunities throughout Asia, as team members will have the opportunities to minister to Hindus, Muslims and those of other religious backgrounds.
Location opportunities include: Philippines and Nepal. Length of trip: 10-12 days. Current ministry relationships include: Mercy House of the Philippines, Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI) and independent missionaries. Trip costs range from $2,500 - $3,000 per person with the potential for additional in-country flight expenses.
